Down By The River

Right before 2018 wrapped up, we took a day trip to the Verde river. The trail to Sheep Bridge is a easy drive and very scenic. If you want to drive to the waters edge that is a little more challenging on the North side of bridge. The trail down is littered with decent size rocks but the eating lunch by roaring rapids is worth it. This is a great area to explore and hang out. If you come in from Carefree, take Seven Springs rd north to Bloody Basin, this is about 30 miles. Make a right at intersection, follow this road for about 13 miles. From I17 take Bloody Basin road east for about 40 miles.
