Let Gravity do it's job

Updated: Oct 12, 2018

One of my favorite places in Arizona to go is Broken Arrow Trail in Sedona. The trail is set in the gorgeous red rocks. Majority of the trail is easy, there are a few spots that require the use of 4 wheel drive and high clearance. The start of the trail, Submarine Rock and of course Devil's Staircase are the main areas. My first time there I was a little Leary about the staircase merely based off of what i had heard. A good buddy that was leading our group stated it was easy, just let gravity do its job. If you plan to do this trail here are a few tips:

1. Get on the trail early, the trail gets busy as the day goes on due to the Pink Jeep Tours.

2. When possible give the Pink Jeeps the right of way, They pay for the up keep of the trail so if possible to pull over please do.

3. Keep your group to 6 rigs or less, the trail is narrow with a good portion being one way. Larger groups can slow the trail down for everyone.
