As I have joined the Overland community I have learned that it is truly a community. In a world that judges you on wealth, material things, followers and likes. The people I have met care about the fact you share the same passion for getting out and exploring. The fact that you want to leave the area better then you found it. Sure, some may have more followers, some may be huge YouTube stars with a Amazon store but at the end of the day its about the passion for exploration. The community is willing to share trip info, rig setups, answer questions or point you to someone that may know the answer. There are great groups like Overland Bound that provide a platform to connect with people from all over. Look in your local area for groups or friends that share your passion for exploration. Whether its a over night or day trip, having someone else along is safer and more enjoyable.
